Video - Scanning for swing trades and 10c plays
This week I had a couple of readers ask me to shed some light on how I look for swing trade set ups, and also a question regarding a formula for finding 10c tick change plays. Hopefully this video is of use:
Oh, as mentioned in this vid, the previous stock scanning video can be found here.

G'day Al and Kevi... good to have your back from chrissy break. still hoping for a brisbane presso sometime soon. How is the new web site coming together? Regards Chris
HEy Alan,
Given you infinite wisdom on such matters. How much capital would you suggest you need to become a full time trader??
Regards.
Chris I think there may be a Brisbane preso in Brisbane sponsored by FP sometime in February.
cb,"infinite wisdom"?? I assume you're being sarcastic there. One thing the stock market teaches you pretty quickly is that noone has infinte wisdom in this game. There's always much to learn.
How much capital to trade full time? It's one of those "how long is a piece of string" type questions. It very much depends on your intended style of trading, your expertise, and expectations as far as income is concerned, and a myriad of other variables.
Obviously the more the better, but I personally know of a consistently successful trader, who does nothing but small day trades. We discussed this question recently, and, although he has more in his account, he felt that he could trade successfully with as little as $20000.
